Kristina Ortiz is an international development and global partnerships leader with more than fifteen years of experience designing and leading complex initiatives across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Throughout her career, she has worked at the intersection of governments, multilateral institutions, nonprofit organizations, and local stakeholders to build durable partnerships, manage large-scale investment portfolios, and deliver measurable results in complex operating environments.
As a U.S. Foreign Service Officer with USAID, Kristina led humanitarian, governance, resilience, and economic development portfolios exceeding $700 million. She advised senior U.S. government leaders, convened international donors and implementing partners, and helped strengthen collaboration among governments, civil society, and the private sector.
Today, as a Global Advisor with Novaterra, Kristina helps organizations navigate complex international environments where government, development finance, and local partnerships intersect—transforming collaboration into long-term impact.
